Marie-Hélène Labbé

General Counsel and Corporate Secretary

Marie-Hélène is a highly accomplished lawyer with over 15 years of legal experience. As General Counsel & Corporate Secretary for Minto Group and Minto Apartment REIT, she oversees the legal and risk management functions at Minto and contributes to the achievement of strategic goals as a member of the senior leadership team.

Previously, Marie-Hélène was Senior Vice President & General Counsel (Canada) and a member of the Canadian executive leadership team at a large publicly traded global renewable energy company. There, she led all legal matters for the Canadian platform, including acquisitions, project development, and financing. Earlier in Marie-Hélène’s career, she practiced corporate and commercial law in a large Canadian law firm. 

Marie-Hélène holds a Bachelor of Civil Law and a Bachelor of Laws from McGill University as well as a Master of Business Administration from the University of Ottawa. 

Beyond her professional achievements, Marie-Hélène enjoys family time, playing the piano, mountain biking, and traveling.
