Jonathan Li

President and Chief Executive Officer - Non-Independent Trustee

Jon is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Minto Apartment REIT.  He oversees the overall strategic direction of the REIT, including operations, growth and investment decisions, capital allocation, balance sheet management and stakeholder communications.  He has 25 years of experience as a senior executive with expertise in corporate strategy, corporate finance and leadership.  

His prior experience includes President and Chief Operating Officer of the REIT and Managing Director in the Real Estate investment banking group at BMO Capital Markets where he acted as an advisor to some of North America's most prominent REITs, including Minto. 

Jon serves as a member of the Board of Trustees of Flagship Communities REIT, a TSX-listed owner and operator of manufactured housing communities located in attractive Midwest markets in the United States.  He also serves as a member of its Audit Committee.

Jonathan received his Bachelor of Commerce degree from McGill University.
